To allow the club to return to training during the current Covid 19 pandemic we have had to put new procedures into place. All coaches, players & supporters must
follow these procedures to allow us to continue training. If these are not followed then the club may be asked to cease training for the age group involved and potentially the club as a
whole.
Training will be held at the following times:
- Wildcats - Mondays 6-7pm Starting 10th
August
- Under 10s – TBC
- Under 11s & Under 11s Colts – Fridays 5-6pm Starting
7th August
- Under 12s & Under 12s Colts - Fridays 6 -7pm Starting
7th August
- Under 13s & Under 13s Colts – Fridays 6.15-7.15pm Starting
7th August
- Under 13s Girls -Mondays 6-7pm Starting 10th
August
- Under 14s & Under 14s Colts – Fridays 7.15pm-8.15pm Starting
7th August
- Under 15s Girls – Mondays 7-8pm Starting 3rd
August
- Under 16s - Wednesdays 7pm-8pm Starting 5th
August
Training will be held on the top fields at Frome College, with access only available via Bath Road entrance opposite Thomas Bunn Close. Parking is limited and we ask
all parents to drive carefully as we expect the car park to be busy around start and finish times.
It is important players do not arrive before the teams allocated start time and all players and parents leave site promptly at the end of each session
All players, spectators and coaches must check negative to all points on the checklist at the bottom of this page. Anyone showing any positives must contact their
childs coach immediately.
By attending training all players, spectators and coaches are agreeing to have their details shared via the governments track and trace system if these details are
requested.
Players
• Players MUST NOT arrive at training before their allocated training times. This is to limit the
number of players on the field at any time.
• On arrival at the ground, please use the sanitiser station provided.
• If anyone is symptomatic or has received a positive COVID-19 test, please advise your team Manager so the appropriate message is forwarded to anyone who may have
been in contact with you/your child.
• Please continue to follow strict hygiene measures.
• Children MUST arrive changed in their kit including boots and shin-pads.
• Drinks, medication and any additional kit must be kept in a bag clearly labelled with your child’s name placed in the designated area.
• Children MUST not chew gum and avoid spitting.
• Please refrain from collecting equipment during or after training/games to assist the coaches unless you are asked to do so as there are strict disinfecting measures
that have to be carried out.
• No sharing of clothing, ie Goalkeeping shirt/gloves, so please ensure your child does not hand over their kit if injured or substituted.
Spectators / Parents
• If anyone is symptomatic or has received a positive COVID-19 test, please advise your team Manager so the
appropriate message is forwarded to anyone who may have been in contact with you/your child.
• On arrival at the ground, please use the sanitiser station
provided.
• Please continue to follow strict hygiene measures.
• Should a player get injured it is the parents responsibility to administer first
aid unless it is a life threatening injury
• All spectators/visitors who remain on site for the duration of training/match and stay within the designated spectator
areas at all times. Spectators are reminded that it is their responsibility to maintain social distancing guidlines at all times. You can stand in groups of no more than 6 and no two groups of this
size to stand side by side. Social distancing rules must be followed.
• Also note that our ground is a Non-Smoking area and no dogs are permitted.
Coaches
• If anyone is symptomatic or has received a positive COVID-19 test, please advise your team Manager so the appropriate
message is forwarded to anyone who may have been in contact with you/your child.
• On arrival at the ground, please use the sanitiser station
provided.
• Please continue to follow strict hygiene measures.
• Coaches must not arrive on site any
more than 15 minutes prior to the start of their session
• All equipment will be washed/sanitised after each session. No equipment (excluding match balls) will
be shared between players.
• Coaches are not to administer first aid unless it is a life threatening
injury.
• All coaches are to submit a
list of players and parents who have attended training to chris.wilkinson@frometownyouthfc.co.uk after
each session. These details will be held by the club for 4 weeks after each session to allow for government track and trace if required.
